how to: get a grip


Stop putting shit off. Do something now.

Shoes need shining? Do it.
Garbage needs taking out? Do it.
Washing up? Do it.

Don’t even read to the end of this post. Stop reading now and do whatever it is that you need to do.

NO EXCUSES.

Don’t stop to think about what it is that you need to do, just pick something and do it. Don’t spend hours sorting and organising and shit, just get on it with one single thing. Now.

Things you CAN do now include:

  • Pay some bills
  • Phone a client
  • Clean your desk
  • Get some laundry done

Things you CAN’T do now include:

  • Coffee break
  • Cigarette break
  • Phone a friend
  • Suck your teeth and look into the middle distance.

If you get TWO things done today, that’s be TWO more than yesterday.

MAN! You on the way to achievement!
